On October 29, 2015, Powered by Action (PbyA) launched boost, a cutting edge technology solution designed to give nonprofits the collaboration tools they need to extend reach and scale impact, regardless of their mission. Using boost, we will enable nonprofit organizations from all over the country to embrace new ways to communicate, collaborate, and serve others.
Now, Powered by Action is building the team that it needs to get boost into the hands of nonprofits all over the country, and it needs your support. With your support, we will:
- Launch our first-ever programmatic initiative using boost
- Increase the number of people who use boost on a daily basis by 100%
- Help at least ten new organizations do good, better by implementing boost
- Enable nonprofits to deliver interactive, person-to-person services over the internet using boost
At Powered by Action, we know that nonprofits everywhere face the same kinds of problems. We talk to Executive Directors, Board Members, and other experts on what seems like a daily basis, and they all tell us the same things: they need money, capacity, and tools to really make a difference in their community.
Every time they spoke, we listened, and eventually, we responded by creating boost, a simple, powerful software platform designed to empower nonprofits and other change-makers to overcome their challenges and drive widespread societal change.
We created boost to amplify the efforts of nonprofit organizations, enabling them to create universally accessible, online communities to host services, training, and support. Powered by Action is already partnering with nonprofit that are already using boost to do good, better. Imagine…

Now, we are working to hire the best, brightest, and most passionate people to help it get boost into the hands of nonprofits who need it most. With the support of a strong team, Powered by Action will be able to improve the way that nonprofits everywhere operate.
